A Poster Competition is being organised to provide a global platform for dairy professionals, farmers and experts to present their views through the posters. Posters are an important part of knowledge exchange at the IDF World Dairy Summit 2022.

International Dairy Federation’s World Dairy Summit 2022, the most coveted event of the dairy sector, will be organised in India’s New Delhi-NCR from September 12-15 this year in which dairy industry stakeholders from different countries would participate and work towards ways to further develop the dairy industry.

The theme for the poster competition is “Innovations Across Dairy Value Chain, aligning with UN SDGs” and all the accepted posters will be considered for IDF WDS 2022 Poster Award which will be announced on September 13 during the dairy summit.

The winners will be rewarded with a prize of INR 25,000 (approx. 300 euros) and the first and second runner-ups will be awarded INR 20,000 (approx. 240 euros) and INR 15,000 (approx. 180 euros), respectively.

Interested candidates can submit their abstracts until July 15 to posters@idfwds2022.com. The candidates will receive notification of abstract acceptance by July 25, following which they can register by August 15. The deadline to submit posters in PDF format is August 21. The IDF World Dairy Summit 2022 Abstract Review Committee will review all the abstracts submitted for a poster presentation. Upon receiving a decision of acceptance for poster presentation at IDF WDS 2022, the presenting author or her/ his nominated representative will be required to register in IDF WDS 2022.

For registration, the presenting author/ nominated representative of the accepted abstract has to pay charges as per regular registration norms. However, the difference amount between early bird and regular registration fees would be refunded, if registration is done on or before 15 August 2022.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to provide the poster for display on 11 September and the poster gallery will be inaugurated on 12 September 2022. For any queries, you can contact posters@idfwds2022.com.
