CWCB: Drafting Phase for Colorado Water Plan Update Begins & Upcoming Basin Roundtable Schedule
During the July Colorado Water Conservation Board Meeting, the Colorado Water Plan transitioned from its scoping phase (which included several months of collecting stakeholder and public feedback) to the drafting phase. While reviewing and considering public input to date, staff will begin the drafting process of the Colorado Water Plan version two, with the goal of releasing the updated draft for public comment in June 2022. Follow along on EngageCWCB.org
Additionally, Basin Roundtables will release drafts of Basin Implementation Plans for public comment from October 13 through November 15. Basin Implementation Plans are set to be finalized in January 2022.
