Colorado State Forest Service Invites YOU to join a discussion on the development of the Colorado Natural and Working Lands Strategic Plan

We invite you to join a discussion on the development of the Colorado Natural and Working Lands Strategic Plan focusing on forests and forest management.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm MDT.

Please register here before the event:

More about the event: The recent Colorado Greenhouse Gas Pollution Roadmap identifies natural climate solutions as a key strategy for Colorado in achieving its climate change mitigation objectives, and calls for the development of a statewide strategic plan to inform actions on natural and working lands (NWL). In developing this statewide plan, state agencies and partners want to hear from members of the public regarding what to include in the plan, including priority actions and next steps. We look forward to engaging with the agricultural community, forest owners and managers, conservation organizations and the broader public. This scoping session will focus on forests and forest management.
