Make Plans to Attend the Inaugural Great Northern Livestock Exposition in Cheyenne, WY Nov 15-30, 2021 – Entries open Sept 1st!

Cheyenne, Wyo. – The inaugural Great Northern Livestock Exposition with
$80,000 in scholarships and cash prizes presented to exhibitors will be held the last
two weeks in November in Cheyenne.

The Great Northern was formed by a small group of ranchers for ranchers. The
event is aimed at preserving our nation’s western heritage, giving stockmen from
across the county the opportunity to showcase and promote elite genetics.
The event will be held at Cheyenne’s all-new Archer Event Center – an indoor
facility that is second-to-none with a temperature controlled barn and an air
filtration system.

The 2021 livestock event will feature 15 open and junior beef cattle breed shows
(listed at right), as well pen shows for bulls. Point shows will take place for the
following breeds: American Highland, Charolais, Limousin, Minature Hereford and
South Devon.

At the conclusion of the open beef shows, $10,000 will be awarded to exhibitors of
the supreme champion bull and the supreme champion female. The “All-American”
Angus Female Sale, featuring elite genetics, will also take place.

For juniors, a market steer show will be held, as well as prospect steer and heifer
shows and the Great Northern Lights Prospect Sale. A $10,000 scholarship will
go to the exhibitor of the supreme champion market steer. The exhibitor of the
Prospect Steer Show supreme champion will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
Market shows will take place for junior sheep and goat exhibitors.

The Great Northern will host a stock dog trial event, western tradeshow and provide
live entertainment at exhibitor events. All events and parking are free with the
exception of the stock dog trial finals, which is a ticketed event.

Located in the heart of America in cattle country, Cheyenne was the obvious
choice to hold this event with two major interstates, great hotels and some of the
best food in the country.

We are excited to welcome you the inaugural Great Northern Livestock Exposition
to be held November 15-30, 2021.

Entries open September 1st and close October 15th.

Late entries will be accepted October 16 up to November 1 for an additional fee.
