Who is Dr. Jewel Bronaugh, USDA’s New Deputy Secretary of Agriculture?

On May 17th, Dr. Jewel Bronaugh was officially sworn in to serve as the Deputy Secretary of Agriculture at USDA. Dr. Bronaugh has a long, distinguished career as an educator and champion for farmers and rural communities, and is making history as the first Black woman and woman of color to serve as Deputy Secretary at USDA.
