WASHINGTON, Mar. 1, 2021 – Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will virtually attend the National Farmers Union’s (NFU) 119th Anniversary Convention TODAY, Mar. 1, at 11:30 a.m. Eastern.

Secretary Vilsack delivered remarks. During his remarks, the Secretary will discuss the USDA’s priorities under the Biden-Harris Administration, the urgent need for a transformation in our current food system, and ongoing efforts the mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on farmers and ranchers. Following his remarks, the Secretary participated in a Q&A session lead by NFU President Rob Larew and Vice President Patty Edelburg.
