Apply by February 22nd for the Water Education Colorado’s Water Leadership Program

Apply before February 22nd, for Water Education Colorado’s Water Leadership Program. It is a great opportunity to learn about water and get connected to people who work in the water biz in other sectors of the state. The program includes four two-day training sessions, six individual assessments, six hours of one-on-one executive coaching, and eight hours of small group coaching. I think it does provide valuable information for producers not connected to the water world, and right now they don’t have anyone from the agricultural community who has applied.

One issue with the program is they rarely have people from the agricultural community participate. The program is $4,000 and that is the big issue. However, there are some scholarships available, and I am good at finding money. CAWA’s goal is to get some agricultural producers to apply and hopefully find enough money to cover the costs.
