Colorado Master Irrigator helps producers conserve water and energy

My name is Susie Hutton, and I am the Communications Specialist for the Colorado Master Irrigator Program. The program offers 32 hours of interactive classes to Colorado irrigators in the Republican River Basin. The program offers in-depth training on irrigation tools and practices that are both conservation and efficiency oriented.

Our goal is to equip producers with the knowledge they need to evaluate the potential pros, cons, and costs of implementing different tools and strategies to improve water and energy use efficiency, energy, water conservation, soil health, and profitability on their operations.

Our 2021 program will begin in January register online ASAP at
