CSU Extension Hosting Coronavirus Food Assistance Program2 Webinar on October 6th

Sterling, CO – President Donald J. Trump and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced the Coronavirus Food Assistance2 program on September 18, 2020. CFAP2 will use funding and authorities provided in the CARES Act and the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) Charter Act. This $14 billion immediate relief program includes direct support to agricultural producers. CSU Extension and the USDA Farm Service Agency have teamed up to conduct a CFAP2 webinar.

The webinar will be held Tuesday, October 6th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Topics to be addressed are:

The mechanics of CFAP2 including signup procedures and required documents, managing EIDL and PPP programs, Livestock Forage Distaster Program (LFP), and ARC and PLC choices for the 2021 crop year.
