U.S. Senator Gardner Travels Across Colorado’s Eastern Plains as Part of Annual Farm Tour

Yuma, CO — Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) visited farmers and ranchers across Colorado’s Eastern Plains this weekend as part of his annual farm tour. During this two-day tour, Gardner met with a variety of Colorado’s agricultural producers, including Colorado Wheat Growers, Colorado Cattleman’s Association, the Colorado Farm Bureau, Colorado Corn Growers, Colorado Pork, Colorado Livestock, the Western Sugar Cooperative, Colorado Lamb, Colorado Dairy Farmers, and Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers.

Gardner’s nine-stop farm tour covered more than 450 miles, six counties, and included stops in Genoa, Hugo, Flagler, Burlington, Wray, Fort Morgan, Brush, Fort Lupton, and Longmont.

“Colorado deserves a Senator who understands the needs of Colorado’s farmers and can effectively represent them in Washington,” said Senator Gardner. “I appreciated the opportunity to visit with farmers and ranchers across Colorado’s Eastern Plains to hear directly from them about how we can continue to work together to support Colorado agriculture.”
