Gardner Welcomes $4.5 Million for Healthcare Services in Colorado

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) welcomed the announcement that Colorado will receive a total of $4,585,708 for healthcare services from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which was provided by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Stimulus (CARES) Act.

“We must do everything we can to ensure our courageous doctors, nurses, and other frontline healthcare professionals have the resources they need while they work to keep us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Senator Gardner. “I’m pleased to see this funding delivered to our communities in need and I will continue working with leaders at the state, local, and federal levels to fight for additional support.”

This funding announcement is in addition to the previous $361 million delivered to healthcare providers, more than $18 million provided to Community Health Centers, and the nearly $6 million for healthcare services as a result of the CARES Act.
