CO Corn News: Stay informed, find resources on the COVID-19 webpage
COVID-19 Resources & Information
Colorado Corn staff and board of directors are taking steps to keep you, our members and stakeholders, informed and to provide you with helpful resources as we navigate through an unprecedented time together. Two ways we aim to do this are through this e-newsletter and a new webpage.
Like many states across the country, Colorado is under Stay-At-Home orders as the effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 continues. Agriculture was deemed a critical industry by the Department of Homeland Security and Governor Polis.
Being deemed a ‘critical and essential industry’ allows farmers and ranchers to continue operating. While #StillFarming, the industry must comply with the guidance and directives for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, social distancing, and all public health orders to the greatest extent possible. To find information about the Executive Order, Resources to help keep you healthy and safe, and the latest industry news checkout Colorado Corn’s COVID-19 webpage, then bookmark it and check back to stay informed.

Colorado Corn is the name used to reference two organizations, Colorado Corn Administrative Committee and Colorado Corn Growers Association. While they share the same staff and office space in Greeley, they have distinctly different missions.
The Colorado Corn Administrative Committee (CCAC) oversees how Colorado’s corn check-off dollars (one penny per bushel of grain corn produced in Colorado) are invested in research, market development, outreach and other various endeavors.
The Colorado Corn Growers Association (CCGA) is comprised of dues-paying members who are politically active, focusing on policy that impacts corn producers and agriculture in general.
