Reminder: Don’t Forget to Apply for the 2020-21 CYFEA College Academic Scholarships Before March 15th!

The 2020 Board of Directors of the Colorado Young Farmers Educational Association and the CYFEA Academic Scholarship Committee want to remind Colorado’s Ag educators and college bound students that the deadline for the 2020 – 2021 Academic Scholarship applications is March 15th !

There is still time for students to mail or email their applications in.

The purpose of these financial awards is to recognize outstanding students who are Colorado residents and will be an incoming freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in the fall of the 2020 –21 school year. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a junior/community college, state college or university. The selection of the scholarship recipients will be based upon academic excellence, along with personal and community activities and interests in agriculture, with future goals to serve in the field of agriculture or agricultural education.

There will be up to four one-year college scholarships awarded to include: a $1000 award for an incoming freshman, a $1500 award for a sophomore, a $2000 award for a junior, and a $2500 award for a senior. The CYFEA 2020 Academic Scholarship Application is now available under the “Scholarships” header online at: http://www.cyfea.org

All applications must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2020 and mailed to:
