COLORADO YOUNG FARMERS EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION and 4RIVERS EQUIPMENT RAISES OVER $14,000 AGAIN WITH THEIR “TRACTOR HOURS” LIVE AUCTION EVENT HELD ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 30th, AT THE 2020 CO FARM SHOW
JANUARY 31, 2020 – The Colorado Young Farmers Educational Association is pleased to announce that $14,200 was raised for the CYFEA Academic Scholarship fund at the 2020 CO Farm Show in Greeley! The CYFEA’s annual “Tractor Hours” live auction fund raising event was held at noon on January 30th, at the 4Rivers Equipment booth inside the Events Center.
A total of 175 tractor hours were auctioned off and split between five buyers that included:
- Rob Johnson, Ridge West Property Services, LLC;
- Jack Larson, Larson Farms LLC;
- Eldon Marrs, Marrs Milky Way Dairy of Ault;
- Bill Markham, M and M Farms of Berthoud;
- and Von Lieber of Fowler, CO.
The CYFEA would like to thank these buyers, along with Bryson Miller, of Auctioneers Miller and Associates, who called this annual event. 4Rivers Equipment/John Deere who once again generously sponsored this event.
Once again, proceeds from the auction support the CYFEA’s Academic Scholarship Program, which annually awards financial scholarships for Colorado college bound freshman, sophomore, junior and senior students who are majoring in the field of agriculture.
