The Cattle in Colorado History book works well in fourth grade Colorado history classes. Using this resource, students learn how cattle came to Colorado, about cattle drives, and the technology that changed cattle ranching. In addition to the history of Colorado’s cattle industry, students will explore caring for livestock, nutrition, sustainability, by-products, and much more.
The Cattle in Colorado History book is sponsored by the Colorado CattleWomen, Inc., in partnership with the Colorado Beef Council.
