CFA: CHS Scholarships Available to Attend 2020 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah
CHS Foundation is once again offering scholarships to help prekindergarten through 12th grade teachers attend the 2020 National Agriculture in the Classroom National Conference ‘Agriculture Elevated’ scheduled for June 24-26 at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
CHS Foundation has increased its support and is offering 50 scholarships this year, up from 40 in the past. The scholarship covers early registration to the conference of $435. Teachers are responsible for covering their other travel costs to attend the conference. To apply for a scholarship, teachers must fill out an application explaining how attending the conference will help them advance agricultural literacy in their classrooms. Eligible applicants are PreK-12 teachers who are employed by a school district or private school.
The Colorado Foundation for Agriculture is a 501(c)3 non-profit education corporation. The vision is to advance agricultural literacy in the next generation of consumers, citizens, and professionals.
