Colorado Department of Agriculture launches business development podcast
December 18, 2019 – Broomfield, Colo. – The Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is pleased to announce the premiere of “Cultivation Station,” a new business development podcast series created to provide expert insight and information to aspiring food and agricultural businesses.
The three initial episodes in the series feature conversations with subject matter experts from Colorado’s Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado State University and Sari Kimbell Food Business Consulting. The topics discussed are the economic climate for small food and ag businesses, The Cottage Food Act and successful marketing.
“There is so much business potential among the many talented food and agricultural producers in Colorado,” said Danielle Trotta, CDA Business Development Specialist and podcast host, “Our goal is to help our state’s food and ag producers profit from their skill and hard work and connect their products to Colorado communities.”
