  • Irrigation scheduling experiment and demonstration with new technology
  • Demonstration of UAV-based remote sensing (canopy temperature, stress, & cover)
  • Demonstration of how crops respond to drought and how they can be designed to perform better
  • Estimating consumptive use (evapotranspiration) under deficit irrigation
  • Measurements to manage and document (monitor) consumptive use savings and support Alternative Ag Water Transfer Methods (including remote sensing)
  • Use of alternative crops to reduce farm water needs
