2017 CENSUS OF AGRICULTURE WATERSHED SUBJECT SERIES DATA RELEASED

LAKEWOOD, Colo. – July 25, 2019 – Today the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) released the first of the subject series data releases that presents 2017 Census of Agriculture statistics broken down by watershed.

The statistics presented in this report include:

  • Farms and land in farms.
  • Land use practices.
  •  Fertilizer and chemical usage
  • Selected crops harvested.
  • Livestock and poultry inventories

The 2017 Census of Agriculture watershed data can be located by visiting the NASS Census of Agriculture website at
https://www.nass.usda.gov/Publications/AgCensus/2017/index.php, and clicking on the Subject Series link.

Other future releases in the subject series of data releases include, American Indian Reservations, Typology, Specialty Crops and Specialty Crops for Outlying Areas.
