The BARN – Briggsdale, CO – At the end of July, Congress will be taking their annual August recess, with a lot of work yet to be done, including ratification of the United States Mexico Canada Trade Agreement, which would officially replace the out-dated North American Free Trade Agreement. In fact, Mexico’s Congress has already ratified USMCA and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said they are ready to ratify it as soon as the United States Congress approves it. From the perspective of the livestock industry, getting the USMCA thru Congress would be a HUGE WIN for producers across this nation.
