Sunflower Production Meetings in 3 Locations in Kansas
The High Plains Sunflower Committee, Kansas Sunflower Commission and K-State Research and Extension are together hosting three sunflower production schools from February 27-March 1. The schools will comprise of hot topics on sunflower production, including new innovations in sunflower production, planting, fertility, weed control, and insect control. In addition, representatives from the industry will review recent hybrid plot results and marketing opportunities.
The schools will be held in three locations across the state – Beloit, Hutchinson and Garden City:
- On February 27, the school will be held in Beloit from 2 to 4:30 pm at the First Christian Church. This is located at 321 N Mill Street in Beloit. GET REGISTERED
- On February 28, the sunflower production school will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 am at the South Hutchinson Community Building. This is located at 101 W Ave C in Hutchinson. GET REGISTERED
- On March 1, the school will be held at the Southwest Research-Extension Center at 4500 E Mary St in Garden City. It will be from 9:00 to 11:30 am. GET REGISTERED
