DENVER, CO – The team is called Current Ag Concerns and they are from Iowa. The four students traveled to Denver, CO with the organization’s Executive Director Jenna Stevens, to take in the 113th National Western Stock Show.
While in the Yards, the students conducted a few interviews: Beth Lamp (narrator and interviews 1&4), Nate Lange (interview 1 and transition), Robert Schaefer (interviews 2-4), and Megan Clark (interviews 2&3).
They interviewed the following people:
- Interview 1 Bailey Craft-She is a livestock intern with the NWSS
- Interview 2 Ashlyn Ochsner- Kersey, Colorado Owner Ochsner Limousin
- Interview 3 Nick Prevo- Burlington, Iowa Owner of Rosco Valley Cattle Co.
- Interview 4 Bill Schermer- Clarion Iowa Owner of Schermer Cattle
Thanks to the Current Ag Issues Team for sharing their interviews with The BARN. I had the distinct honor to visit with the team in the historic Stadium Arena in between cattle shows.
